Okay so it's been about two months since I first started going out to the farm about 45mins away from where I live
Unfortunately, my (now) ex-trainer got into a fight with the agistment owner and everything just sort of went downhill.
However, I am now under the agisment owners wing
She said I am still allowed to go out and hang out with the horses and ride as well.
I haven't been riding out there since I last rode, however, my dad and I found an equestrian centre about 15 minutes out from our place and had my first lesson there on Friday the 18th of April
I had ridden there recently with a friend, it was sort of a lesson but it wasn't. It was still good
My first official lesson went fantastic in my opinion, I have been riding a horse named Rancha (18 years old) and rode him on both occassions. My "trainer" as it seems it will just change because we just call up and make a time rather than regular lessons, got me to do a canter. Yes. A canter. On the first lesson.
I mean, yes, 10 years out of work for me riding but I only cantered once in that time!
SO I cantered. And now every part of my body hurts XD.
I had heaps of fun though.
No. This does not mean I am not giving up on the farm. I will still be attending it to learn how to take care of horses and perhaps ride a bit of bareback and help out with the rescues
Anyway, I shall let you off with this for now~
